The duration of the programme is two years (8 quarters)
Admission requirements:
The admission requirement for the MSc in Economics and Business Administration (cand.merc.) programme in Sports and Event Mangement is a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
Applicants who are not in possession of the relevant admission requirements but who on the basis of other diplomas of post-secondary education are considered to be qualified for carrying out the study programme may be granted admission based on an assessment of whether their education gives qualifications equivalent to the BSc in Economics and Business Administration.
Study programme:
Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration requires two years of full time study, each year consisting of four quarters. The profile in Sports and Event Management consists of 60 ECTS compulsory courses, 30 ECTS that are electives, and a thesis work corresponding to 30 ECTS.
The 8 compulsory courses are offered in the first four quarters. The electives are typically placed in the fifth and sixth quarters, and the thesis is to be written during the seventh and eighth quarters.
 Language:
For EU/EEA-students A level in English from secondary school is required.
If your bachelor degree was taken outside the European Union, Scandinavia, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand a TOEFL or IELTS test is required.
TOEFL test with at min. score of 575 paper based, 230 computer based or 88 interned based.
The test must be sent directly from the test centre to the University of Southern Denmark.
IELTS with at min. score of 6.5. The University of Southern Denmark has access to the IELTS Verification Service, therefore we accept the IELTS test results in copy. Contact & Information:
